Luke + Alex’s FarmHouse Siloam Wedding

I’ve learned something this year…the key to having a destination wedding is to have a relaxed attitude and trust your vendors. Find your ideal wedding venue then trust their opinions. They see vendors come in and out on a weekly basis. They know first hand those that are trustworthy, reliable, and do good work for you. If your venue has a preferred vendor list then take a good long hard look at it because there’s a good chance those vendors are there for a reason. That’s pretty much what Luke and Alex did because they booked The FarmHouse Siloam while living near Charlotte then moved to Texas shortly afterwards. Wedding planning isn’t easy from states away, that’s why you need to trust your people. The ladies at the FarmHouse are the best and they stay on top of it. They want to make your dreams come true so they continue check in and make sure your plans are coming along so that everyone is on the same page and nothing gets left undone.

I did Luke and Alex’s consultation via zoom because ya know covid, but I didn’t get to really know them know them because we weren’t able to do their engagement session due to their move to Texas. When I met them the day before their wedding, I got how relaxed and trusting they were. Truly the nicest people to work with which made my job so easy. They were so happy and excited over the whole experience. Their wedding party was great too! I LOVED all the colors! Each of the bridesmaids wore a jewel color and their flowers coordinated and the guys’ flowers matched who they walked down the aisle with. Flower Gallery did such a great job with Alex’s huge bouquet and all the flowers!

Luke and Alex, you guys were so much fun to hang out with on your wedding day…because it wasn’t stressful, it was truly like hanging out while marrying your best friend. I want to wish you a lifetime of fun and happiness but I don’t need to wish it, I KNOW you’ll have it!! Keep making each other smile like your wedding day!
